Responsibilities

: This job requires the candidate to perform software engineering tasks, inclusive of those identified below, with minimal supervision: Plans, directs, and monitors project(s) to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are maintained. Responsible for the project level profit and loss. Defines, generates, and reviews project management related material.

Ensures that all required resources such as engineering, manpower, production, and facilities are available for the program. Works closely with the assigned project staff to ensure adequate direction is provided regarding budgeting and execution of program. Works closely with the assigned project staff to ensure all program deliverables are met satisfactorily.

Works closely with VTS management to ensure that all program risks and issues are identified early and proactively elevated and properly acted upon. Serves as primary customer contact for project information. Pursues follow-on and new business opportunities directly with customers.

Ensure adherence to all internal Program Management processes. Participate in customer meetings, peer reviews, and problem-solving meetings. Input into creation of proposals for follow-on work.
