About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Finance Analyst to partner closely with business unit leads and finance leadership on key strategic decisions that drive growth for Uber Freight. This position will work at our office in Chicago. What the Candidate Will Do Build models from scratch, improve existing models, break complex models down into consolidating subcomponents Partner with key stakeholders to translate top-line forecasts to headcount needs, ensure we are setting our business partners up to succeed while also challenging the organization to work within financial targets and efficiency goals You will help support the primary point of contact for all Tech operating expense controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Minimum of 3 years experience in Corporate Finance/Operational FP A Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills Forecasting and Variance Analysis Financial Modeling

Preferred Qualifications

MBA, CFA or CPA Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets Oracle Suite: Experience with Oracle Fusion, Hyperion Essbase, or EPBCS. Data Visualization: Experience building automated dashboards in Tableau or Power BI. Strong working knowledge of GAAP Capitalization Rules: Specific experience with R D/Tech labor capitalization (CapEx vs.

OpEx). Strategic Analysis: Experience performing ROI analyses for capital investments or product health KPIs. Industry Experience: Previous experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a fast-paced Tech/Start-up environment.

Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation skills, as this role requires "challenging the organization" and presenting to Tech leads and Finance leadership. Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Compensation
