What You'Ll Do

: You will be part of the foundation that everything else at Geotab is built on, building and continually improving the core platform that services over 6 billion API requests per day. You will make hands-on code changes—spanning both application code and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)—to enhance the systems that every engineering team relies on to build, ship, and scale their products. Specifically, you will: Manage mission-critical applications: Take real ownership over systems that matter—including the reverse proxy, the core API gateway, and the platform registry—where downtime is immediately noticed by a global fleet of connected vehicles.

Modernize the platform: Help revolutionize the system by rebuilding core applications and services to run in Kubernetes. Collaborate and lead: Work closely with senior engineers across the company to help shape exactly how Geotab builds and operates infrastructure at scale. How you'll make an impact: We’re in the middle of a major migration to Kubernetes, moving the most mission-critical services at Geotab into a modern, cloud-native architecture on the cloud.
