Assembles and/or straighten parts according to specification. Has a working knowledge of instruments and gages used with heat treating equipment, uses Rockwell hardness testing machines and other testing devices and keeps documented files on all heat-treating jobs to reference procedures, heats, etc.
Qualified applicants must have a minimum of one year’s manufacturing experience with a high school education or equivalent, or post-high school training in manufacturing or engineering-related disciplines. Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and blueprints, solve math problems, multi-task and understand priorities, basic computer skills, and able to communicate effectively. Physical demands include continuous standing and walking with frequent sitting, pushing/pulling, overreaching above shoulder and wrist movement.
