About The Role

You will be part of a highly collaborative product team working at the core of our manufacturing facility, transforming digital models into physical elements at scale. As a Software Engineer (PLC / OT), you will work with your team on evolving the rather traditional architecture of MES like systems integrating via OPC-UA with PLCs into a future-proof architecture built with Software Defined Manufacturing in mind. Furthermore, our teams are also responsible for operating and troubleshooting the software they have developed during working hours of the factory. What you’ll be doing As a Software Engineer (f/m/d) on the Product Delivery team, you will be responsible for: Understanding and explaining the existing PLC / OT code base from our vendor to the rest of your team. Working together with your team and other teams in Product Delivery to evolve the current architecture into a truly Software Defined Manufacturing setup.
