Following the success of our flagship specialty and emergency hospital in Marietta, Georgia, we are proud to announce the opening of our second hospital in Dunwoody, Georgia , scheduled to open in October 2026 . We are actively building our founding Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team and seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians, Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs), Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs), and highly skilled Veterinary Assistants with backgrounds in: Emergency Medicine Critical Care Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Specialty Medicine Surgery and Anesthesia High-Volume General Practice Selected candidates will begin onboarding and training at our established Marietta hospital beginning September 2026 , providing the opportunity to work alongside experienced emergency clinicians, specialists, and critical care teams before transitioning into our brand-new Dunwoody facility.

As an Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting emergency presentations, hospitalized patients, and ICU-level care.
Emergency and Triage Support Assist with emergency patient intake and triage Obtain patient histories and assess presenting concerns Support stabilization of critically ill and injured patients Assist veterinarians during emergency procedures and treatments Prepare patients for diagnostics, surgery, or specialty consultations Provide compassionate support to clients during stressful situations Critical Care and ICU Nursing Monitor hospitalized and ICU patients Perform ongoing patient assessments and nursing care Administer medications, fluids, blood products, and treatments as directed Monitor pain levels and patient comfort Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate findings promptly Maintain accurate treatment sheets and medical records Advanced Technical Skills Venipuncture and blood collection Intravenous catheter placement Sample collection and laboratory processing Diagnostic imaging support Fluid therapy management ECG monitoring Oxygen therapy management Advanced patient monitoring Emergency Procedures and Anesthesia Support Assist with emergency surgeries and urgent procedures Support anesthesia induction and monitoring when needed Assist with patient recovery and post-procedural care Prepare equipment and treatment areas for emergency interventions Team Collaboration Collaborate with Emergency Doctors, Criticalists, Specialists, and support staff Partner closely with Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, and Diagnostic Imaging teams Support continuity of care across departments Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
