Overview The Principal Business Manager shapes Esri’s long-term business strategy across products, services, and strategic business relationships. Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on cross company business initiatives Develop scalable business frameworks for licensing, cost optimization, financial modeling, global readiness, and business feasibility assessments Lead first-of-kind, cross-divisional initiatives that shape how Esri evaluates, structures, and scales business decisions Shape pricing, go-to-market, and business relationship strategies across product lines and regions Anticipate and assess external trends including AI advancements, regulatory developments, and economic conditions, and translate their business implications into proactive strategies, decision frameworks, and contingency plans for Esri’s senior leadership Elevate organizational business maturity by mentoring senior contributors and establishing standards that improve decision quality, accountability, and long-term scalability

Compensation
decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
