What You’Ll Do
as a Server: As a Server, you will provide friendly, professional, and efficient table service in our dining room and during catered events. You’ll support a positive dining experience for residents and guests, ensure proper sanitation, and maintain a polished and welcoming atmosphere. Your role contributes to a high standard of hospitality that supports the health, comfort, and satisfaction of our community members.
Set tables and maintain assigned stations in a clean, orderly manner. Take food and beverage orders, serve meals, and provide requested items courteously and efficiently. Answer questions about menu items and ensure residents' dining needs are met.
Clear dishes and reset tables during and after meal service. Deliver food items from the kitchen and assist with portioning of appetizers, salads, soups, beverages, and desserts. Provide consistent, high-quality customer service to residents and their guests.
Maintain safe, clean, and sanitary work conditions in compliance with health and safety standards. Complete all assigned cleaning and side work tasks. Attend in-service training and required educational sessions.
Greet residents and guests warmly and professionally. Anticipate and respond to guest service needs and preferences. Complete end-of-shift duties such as vacuuming, straightening tables/chairs, and refilling condiments.
Assist food runners and the Dining Room Manager as needed. Maintain knowledge of table numbers, room capacity, operating hours, and proper service standards. Attend resident dining committee meetings when applicable.
