Solutions Architect - Enterprise Networking (Req#1055)

Overview Candidates MUST BE geographically located in or near Irvine, California, with a willingness to work on-site in our Irvine office two days per week. As a Solutions Architect (Enterprise Networking), you will function as the technical lead for ePlus for targeted, key solution sets. You will be a key contributor in the pre-sales process, assisting the regional sales team in evaluating customers’ needs, and developing solutions from concept to implementation.

, as relevant Assist ePlus sales team in dealing with customer satisfaction issues surrounding technical aspects of a recommended solution its implementation or deployment, as needed Assist in developing customer get-well plan, if applicable Assist sales and services management in identifying candidate solution areas for ePlus development or investment Complete training, per development plan, and maintain certifications in accordance with focus area Assist Services Director with helping improve procedures and functions Ensure appropriate coverage for in-process opportunities while out of office for training, vacation, PTO, etc.

Qualifications

Business or Technical degree or applicable work experience required 5+ years of experience in designing or implementing complex network solutions 5+ years of experience in providing pre-sales engineering support 5+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience with a focus on Data Center, Campus, and WIFI solutions Recent experience in leaf-spine architecture design Expert knowledge in the following areas: Ethernet, RSTP/ MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, eBGP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, Spanning Tree, QoS Certifications in applicable technology Cisco, Juniper, or Arista greatly preferred Network engineering experience with one or more of manufacturers: Cisco, HP, NetApp, VMware, Symantec, Microsoft Excellent written communications skills Strong attention-to-detail Excellent oral presentation skills Positions Specifics The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $110,000 and $150,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
