About The Role
The Supply Technician supports operations at MCAS Cherry Point by managing inventory, processing requisitions, and handling material flow to ensure supplies are available when and where they’re needed. This role is key to maintaining efficient, uninterrupted site operations.
Requirements
to maintain appropriate stock levels and replenishment schedules Establish and maintain minimum inventory levels to prevent work stoppages and ensure proper rotation of perishable and high-value items Ensure proper storage, labeling, and security of all materials in compliance with safety and loss-prevention standards Maintain MSDS documentation for all chemicals and hazardous materials in inventory Perform routine pickup, delivery, and distribution of supplies, equipment, and amenities to supported work centers Identify, process, and dispose of obsolete or damaged materials in accordance with applicable policies and procedures Maintain accurate records for non-expendable property and support government property accountability
Oversee warehouse operations in alignment with safety protocols and supply chain standards Maintain an organized cataloging system for inventory, parts, and reference materials to support efficient retrieval and tracking Support preventive maintenance and servicing of warehouse tools and equipment Track and issue program items such as safety boots, safety glasses, and related supplies Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times Perform all duties in a safe, professional, and mission-focused manner Other duties as assigned to support operational needs
What We'Re Looking For
Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, supply operations, or asset distribution Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, including a Tier 1 NACI background investigation Proficient in data entry and standard business applications Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Windows-based systems Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional demeanor Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to work independently or in a team and adapt to changing priorities on short notice Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Must maintain eligibility for access to a government worksite Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy Physical Demands Work Environment Regular physical activity in a warehouse or supply environment, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, crouching, and lifting Ability to lift, carry, push, o
