About The Role
The Maintenance Electrician performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment, distribution, lighting, or utilization of electric energy. What You'll Be Doing Install, maintain, and repair a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, and conduit systems. Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, layouts, and specifications to plan and assign work effectively.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

with accuracy. Skilled in performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing system or equipment malfunctions, and completing necessary repairs. Working knowledge of the design, operation, and installation of electrical systems, circuits, equipment, and controls.
Ability to plan, layout, install, modify, and repair electrical systems and related components. Ability to read and interpret building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings. Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment, including voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeters, and ohmmeters.
Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearance. Must maintain all required licenses and certifications; EPA Refrigeration Certification required. Ability to maintain access to government worksites.
Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record in accordance with company policy; CDL may be required for certain positions.

What We'Re Looking For
Thorough knowledge of national and local electrical codes. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
