As Finance Portfolio Manager, you’ll work hand-in-hand with founders, CFOs, board members, investment teams, and our central teams. Your role is to turn complexity into clarity, and data into action, always with a talent for managing expectations across all stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You'll be a trusted partner, bridging operational and financial oversight with strategic support, embracing all tasks necessary for accuracy and insight. Financial Operational Oversight Act as the central control tower for our portfolio companies. You'll closely analyze critical financial, operational, risk, and ESG data provided by their CFOs/CEOs to ensure optimal performance.

When they have questions, you'll serve as a sounding board and trusted advisor. Performance Portfolio Monitoring Rigorously monitor financial performance, identify weak signals, and co-create pragmatic solutions. You'll highlight key financial trends that provoke re-investment or exit considerations, initiating arbitration discussions when necessary.

Group Finance Alignment Integration Ensure seamless coordination and compliance with Decathlon central finance functions. You'll act as a guarantor of Group Finance rules and management frameworks for portfolio companies, facilitating exchanges with all relevant Group Finance teams (including post-M A financial integration). Valuation Financial Communication Lead and contribute to investment valuations (annual/biannual).

You'll also drive transparent fund-level reporting and ensure clear, concise financial communication regarding the portfolio's performance to senior management.

WHO YOU ARE

We're seeking a technically strong professional with a pragmatic mindset and a passion for impact. Your Expertise 7-9 years' experience in corporate M A, transaction services, private equity, or corporate finance. Strong command of accounting, valuation, financial analysis, and post-M A financial integration.
