Super is one of the largest sports betting operators in the region, running a network of over 1,000 locations across multiple geographies and processing more than 22 million bets per month. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will join the Player – Transact Tribe, a team with organisation-wide impact and deep connections across multiple engineering areas.

In this role, you will help shape systems that power critical functionality across the business and connect multiple engineering domains.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in a large-scale production environment Experience engineering high-quality, highly scalable software in an object-oriented or functional language Experience working with distributed systems Experience building and improving observability A passion for clean coding, simple solutions, automated testing, and continuous deployment A passion for working in the cloud and automation Familiarity with any of the following technologies: Golang, Erlang, or Elixir A user-centric, data-driven approach to building solutions Willingness to learn new technologies

Nice To Have

Experience with AWS services (CloudFormation, MSK, S3, Cognito, etc.) Knowledge of Kafka Interest in functional programming
