As a Software Engineer, you will play an important role in growing and improving our healthcare data ecosystem for our clients. Don't know our tech stack well?

You'll contribute across the software development lifecycle, from design and architecture through implementation and delivery, while collaborating closely with teammates and supporting shared engineering success.

What You Need to Succeed: • 8+ years of experience writing production-ready code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to the design and architecture of software applications. • Strong experience building scalable applications and data flows, with a focus on maintainable, high-quality software.

• Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and contribute positively within a dynamic team environment. • Experience leading projects, supporting migrations, and delivering meaningful outcomes. • Enthusiasm for learning, continuous improvement, and Datavant's mission to connect health data and improve patient outcomes.

What You Will Do

: • Contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing development of products that power Datavant's healthcare data ecosystem. • Support and mentor fellow engineers while helping build reliable, scalable, and impactful solutions. • Take ownership of meaningful projects, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape the future direction of our products.

• Develop innovative solutions that help clients unlock greater value from healthcare data. • Work with modern technologies including Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Snowflake, AWS, and more. • Share knowledge, contribute to technical discussions, and help strengthen our engineering community, including through our engineering blog.
