You will be supporting the international roll-out of our approved prostate cancer imaging agent and helping us to advance our portfolio of late clinical-stage products that address significant unmet need in oncology and rare diseases. See Yourself at Telix The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is part of a team overseeing development of new ARTMS products, as well as manufacturing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of existing products. This role will primarily focus on existing products - solid target stations, transfer systems and equipment related to cyclotron-based isotope manufacturing and processing.

Key Accountabilities: Lead and contribute to mechanical design and product development activities, from concept through production launch (Prepare and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Coordinate and facilitate design reviews, dFMEAs/pFMEAs, and other risk management activities. ) Lead engineering change processes for existing products, driving design updates, reliability enhancements, and cost or manufacturability improvements.

Manage engineering projects to ensure tasks stay within scope and are completed in a timely manner against competing priorities. Collaborate closely with the Chemistry team to integrate material selection, formulation, and performance considerations into mechanical designs and testing. Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting production issues and implementing process or design improvements.

Collaborate with the Quality team to investigate nonconformances, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive actions. Demonstrate and promote safe work habits and enforces a clean and organized working environment.

Assists in development and continual improvement of QC, QA and QMS. Assists with in-house compliance audits. The position may require the incumbent to be trained as a Nuclear Energy Worker (NEW) Education and Experience: A Bachelor degree and 8+ years of experience; OR a Masters Degree and 6+ years of experience OR a PhD and 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related science field Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally Strong mechanical design skills using 3D CAD, Solidworks preferred Attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to achieve assigned goals and objectives Experience with 3D printing/ rapid prototyping Occasional extended hours or shift work may be required.
