What is an Assistant Property Manager at AVE? The Assistant Property Manager acts as the well-rounded right hand of the General Manager to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of their community of luxury apartment rentals and flexible-stay furnished apartments.
Responsibilities
including invoicing, processing payments, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring all resident records are up-to-date and accurate. They provide the highest level of service to our residents, partners, and guests and takes ownership of overseeing the smooth operation of our housekeeping and maintenance teams. Ensure all aspects of the operations of the community are running smoothly on a daily basis Prepare accurate invoices for new and existing corporate clients to ensure timely remittance of payment Process all receipts daily including rent payments, credit card charges, and ACH payments Maintain accurate resident rent ledgers and personal information Process new applications and set up and execute new leases Process and negotiate lease renewals as per the direction of the General Manager Process accounts payable with the General Manager's approval Monitor the financial operation and achieving budgeted NOI Assist with resident relations and enforce community rules and regulations Maintain accuracy of all resident and vendor files Play an active role in scheduling for the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams Assist with the recruitment process for new housekeeping and maintenance team members Take ownership of managing vendor relationships and scheduling vendors for any community needs Communicate and assist residents with the details of their stays and provide exceptional service at every step in the process Assist the sales team with touring prospects, walking the sales path, and preparing for sales events as needed
Requirements
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with accounting, bookkeeping, and/or financial management and reporting Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a front-facing operational role Hospitality, travel, relocation, corporate housing, or multifamily industry experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of industry software systems such as Yardi, Voyager, PAYScan, and Oscar is a plus High proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong detail orientation and high degree of accuracy Excellent customer service and organizational skills Superior time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines

Compensation
$70,000-$80,000/year Individual
decisions will vary as the annual base
range provided is approximate and determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to experience,
range listed above.
