AutoProff Deutschland GmbH — Vejle, South Denmark
Join AutoProff – Help Build Trust in the Price Models Powering Our European Growth! 🚗 We’re looking for an Advanced Pricing Analyst to join our team, based out of our Vejle headquarters. At AutoProff, pricing is at the heart of how we serve customers and drive commercial performance.
As our pricing capabilities continue to evolve, we need stronger ownership of how our price models perform in production. This role will be central to creating transparency around pricing quality, spotting issues before they become escalations, and ensuring we understand why our models behave the way they do. As Advanced Pricing Analyst, you will own the reporting, monitoring, and investigation of price model performance across our production setup.
You will help define the right benchmarks and reporting views to evaluate performance over time, identify weakspots or unusual behaviour, and support both existing and new model evaluations. You will also take the lead on investigating specific pricing cases raised by Pricing teams, using data and system-level understanding to determine whether issues stem from data quality, model behaviour, system integration, or whether the model output is in fact well supported by market observations. This role sits at the intersection of pricing, analytics, and technical investigation.
You will work closely with Pricing, Data Science, and other stakeholders to ensure that pricing behaviour is monitored, understood, and communicated clearly across the organisation. You will also contribute to building and strengthening the pricing setup that supports AutoProff’s continued growth across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
, you will Own the reporting and monitoring framework for price model performance in production, including defining the KPIs, benchmarks, and views needed to create a clear overview of model quality and behaviour. Analyse model performance across segments, markets, and versions to identify weakspots, anomalies, drift, and other signals of deteriorating quality before they become business issues. Lead investigations into unusual price outcomes and determine whether the underlying cause relates to data quality, model behaviour, system integration, or stakeholder interpretation.
Build a strong understanding of how price models are productionised and consumed through APIs, and validate that models are being supplied with the correct data, format, and values. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to Pricing, Data Science, and management, while supporting the quality assurance and benchmarking of existing and new price models. The need-to-have skills Strong SQL skills and experience working independently with large datasets to build reporting, monitor performance, and investigate pricing behaviour.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and visualisation skills, with the ability to structure investigations and turn complex findings into clear and actionable insights. Hands-on Python experience for data investigation, exploratory analysis, and technical debugging. A good understanding of how machine learning models work in practice, including how input quality, feature behaviour, formatting issues, or drift can affect outputs.
Comfort working with APIs, payloads, and technical system flows, combined with strong communication skills and confidence in challenging assumptions with data and evidence. The nice-to-have skills Experience working with pricing models, recommendation models, or other predictive models in production. Experience investigating model-serving issues, feature quality issues, or data pipeline issues affecting live model outputs.
Familiarity with model monitoring concepts such as drift detection, segmentation analysis, and performance benchmarking over time. Ability to reproduce or inspect price requests locally through technical tools, services, or APIs.
