Location: This role will be onsite in our Broomfield, Colorado office. Travel: Up to 5% Job ID: 1516 The Role At Skyloom, we’re building cutting-edge optical communication systems for space. We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer with a strong hands-on mindset to help test, debug, and validate electronic assemblies (PCBA and Card Circuit Assembly) across development and production.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working in the lab, solving real hardware problems, and collaborating across disciplines. Experience with complex electronic systems is key, deep aerospace or space background is a plus, but not required. You’ll work closely with hardware, firmware, optical, manufacturing, and test teams to bring advanced electronic systems from prototypes to flight-ready production.

Responsibilities

: Hardware Test Debug Test and debug PCBAs and electronic subsystems, including multi-board systems. Perform functional and performance testing during development, qualification, and production. Support hardware bring-up and troubleshooting using lab instrumentation.

Requirements

Support design verification and production acceptance testing. Help identify root causes of failures and support corrective actions. Contribute to test procedures, acceptance criteria, and production documentation.
