We’re searching for an Engineering Technician .
In this role, you will Work as a R&D Technician building Aurora’s self-driving technology - this Includes harness fabrication from scratch, often from lucid charts, excel files, and engineering drawings. Candidates must possess excellent documentation practices. Work closely with Hardware Engineering and associated teams.
Follow safety standards and meet internal deadlines. Work with limited oversight. Seek continuing education and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of direct experience in harness fabrication using 1:1 form boards and various tooling in R&D and prototype spaces Strong electrical skills, ability to read wiring schematics and layouts, redline drawings, and communicate with EDS design engineers Strong background in electrical wiring & harness fabrication from scratch. Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, microscope, etc.
Qualifications
IPC training and certification in the following: IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/7721 Certification and training in GD&T Core Skills Fast learner .
