Gate Attendant (Part-Time)

The Gate Attendant supports event operations at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex by managing guest entry points, selling tickets, directing guests, and providing a positive and welcoming first impression during Spring Training, tournaments, and special events.

Responsibilities

Sell tickets at designated entry gates in accordance with established procedures Direct guests to appropriate parking areas, fields, and facilities Accurately prepare, balance, and reconcile assigned gate banks at the start and end of each shift Verify ticket envelopes to ensure correct ticket counts prior to distribution Answer guest questions, resolve basic issues, and provide high-quality guest service Communicate effectively with VIPs and special guests as directed by Operations leadership Maintain awareness of event operations and escalate issues or concerns to the Senior Coordinator, Facilities Event Operations Perform other duties as assigned by Operations leadership

Qualifications

and Skills Previous cash-handling experience preferred Strong verbal communication and customer service skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Availability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time Top MLB
