The Justice Works Outreach Intake Coordinator is a key part of the Housing Plus Justice Works program and is expected to represent the Justice Works program for a range of settings and audiences. The Outreach Intake Coordinator will report directly to the Justice Works Senior Program Director. The Coordinator will work closely with the referring partners, make weekly visits to Rikers Island and collaborate with all Justice Works Subcontractors.

In order to adhere to Justice Works contractual goal of 159 filled units the Coordinator will monitor the flow of referrals, admissions, and discharges. The role is very strategic, requiring a blend of passion, skills and commitment to the successful execution of the Justice Works program, the ability to manage multiple priorities and the fostering of positive relationships across internal and external partnerships. The Coordinator also demonstrates strong communication and problem-solving skills ultimately contributing to the overall success of the Housing Plus mission.
Competencies/ Skills: Exceptional Communication Skills: The Outreach Intake Team explains the Justice Works program and procedures to subcontractors ,referring partners and clients. The Coordinator must communicate in a way that is easy to understand.
and the scope of services prevents misunderstanding and intake errors. A trained Outreach Intake Coordinator asks the right questions and records accurate details to keep the referrals on track. The Outreach Intake Coordinator explains paperwork, eligibility and next steps in a clear way that reduces confusion and increases partnership retention.
