As Director, Global Product Management at ASM, you will define and lead the product and portfolio strategy for PECVD. This role is accountable for driving long-term technology direction, product roadmaps, and business performance across a critical growth area for ASM. You will operate as a key member of the global product leadership team - aligning R D, operations, and commercial functions - while building and leading a high-performing product management organization.
This is a highly visible role with direct impact on ASM’s PECVD market position, customer engagement strategy, and growth trajectory.

into differentiated product capabilities Business Planning Financial Ownership Own business case development (NPV, IRR) and portfolio-level financial performance Lead forecasting, long-range planning, and contribution to operating plans Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as executive sponsor across Product Development, Operations, Service, and Commercial teams to drive alignment and execution Partner with suppliers and external ecosystem to enable next-generation capabilities and cost competitiveness Go-to-Market Strategic Marketing Define positioning and value propositions for PECVD solutions across applications and customer segments Oversee Market Requirement Specifications (MRS), competitive analysis, and executive-level messaging
What We Are Looking For
~15+ years in semiconductor capital equipment, with deep experience in PECVD or adjacent thin film deposition technologies Proven leadership experience managing product portfolios and leading teams in a global, matrixed organization Track record delivering complex platforms from concept through commercialization Strong understanding of semiconductor device trends and customer roadmap alignment Experience influencing senior customer stakeholders and driving strategic decisions Strong business acumen (portfolio management, financial modeling, product strategy) Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Materials Science, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering What Sets You Apart Deep expertise in PECVD and adjacent technolo
