Role Description The Member Acquisition Specialist is a field-based role responsible for converting community outreach and referral opportunities into enrolled Zócalo Health members.

This role focuses on direct member engagement, enrollment conversations, same-day registration, and follow-through to care connection. Member Acquisition Specialists are deployed strategically across community partner sites, referral locations, and Zócalo-hosted community events to maximize enrollment outcomes and member conversion. Success in this role is measured by enrollments, registration quality, conversion rates, follow-up execution, and the ability to build trust that results in members connecting to care.

This is a highly accountable, performance-driven role for individuals who are comfortable initiating conversations, guiding individuals through enrollment processes, overcoming barriers to care, and working independently in community settings. This position reports to the Market Growth Manager.
