package and providing a wonderful working environment. Job Summary: St. Anne's-Belfield School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team, providing coverage for the Early Childhood Program classrooms on an as-needed basis.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and an enthusiasm for supporting student learning across a range of grade levels and subjects. Substitute Teachers are responsible for implementing prepared lesson plans, managing classroom environments, and fostering a positive, supportive atmosphere that encourages student growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

: Instructional Delivery : Follow and implement lesson plans prepared by the primary classroom teacher, ensuring continuity of learning for all students. Classroom Management : Create a respectful and inclusive classroom environment, maintaining order and promoting positive behavior to support a safe and productive learning space. Student Support : Provide individual and group instruction and support to meet students' varied learning needs.

Address student questions and provide feedback as necessary. Attendance and Documentation : Accurately record daily attendance and submit any necessary documentation, including assignments or reports, to the regular teacher and/or administrative staff. Communication : Collaborate with teaching assistants, grade-level teams, and administration as needed.

Provide notes on the day's events or progress for the returning teacher.

Qualifications

: Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred. Relevant coursework and/or experience working with children in an educational setting required.

Requirements

Experience : Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school environment. Skills : Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to follow detailed lesson plans and adapt as necessary.

Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and administrators.
