The Role: Yubico is looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead and scale our distributed Production Fulfillment Systems software development team. This team works closely with our hardware, solutions engineering, and production teams to build enterprise-grade, secured, reliable, integrated software to produce YubiKey devices at scale.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for defining the engineering vision and championing the development of next-generation production systems to drive higher levels of automation efficiency and scale. You will collaborate effectively with cross functional Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain/Production, and Operations teams to execute complex, high-impact solutions across a global engineering workforce.

Responsibilities

: Strategic Leadership Technical Oversight: Define and execute the engineering vision for production systems, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals. Provide architectural guidance and oversee the delivery of scalable and maintainable existing and new enterprise-class software solutions. Team Management Mentorship: Lead, scale, and mentor geographically distributed teams of software development engineers and managers at all levels.
