About The Role

: The Director of Nursing provides strategic and operational leadership to the medical services team within a community mental health environment. This role ensures high-quality, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care is delivered across all clinical programs. The Director oversees staffing, compliance, clinical protocols, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support the on-going needs of CRCs consumers, staff, collaborators, and fiscal responsibility.

The Director plays a key role in workforce development, quality improvement, and aligning medica services practices with organizational goals and regulatory standards. Essential Functions: The essential functions of the Director are to: Oversee daily operations of medical services teams across all clinical sites. Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and procedures to ensure safe, effective care.

Provides direct, and indirect consumer care daily. ). Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of assigned staff.

Collaborate with behavioral health providers, case managers, and leadership to support care delivery. Monitor and improve clinical quality metrics, documentation standards, and patient outcomes. Manage inventory and administration of medications, including psychotropic and injectable treatments.

Respond to clinical emergencies and provide guidance on crisis intervention protocols. Support health equity initiatives and culturally responsive care practices. Participate in strategic planning and budgeting.
