Technology Director (Platform)

As a Technology Director and highly skilled and experienced Java Web Architect, you will lead and mentor our web development team, playing a key part in the successful delivery of large-scale commercial websites and web applications. This position is ideal for a seasoned Java professional with a deep understanding of modern web technologies and a passion for building robust, scalable solutions. While a strong background in Java is essential, you'll also have the opportunity to expand your expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), a platform built on Java, and become a leader in its implementation.

You possess exceptional communication skills, a proven ability to drive technical strategy, and a knack for fostering a collaborative environment within web development. You will lead Tech Leads, Frontend/Backend Developers, QA, DevOps, and Content Authors. You'll be responsible for enterprise architecture, technical standards, team development, and business growth.

Technical Skills – Required Expertise in enterprise platform development using Java and Spring Framework Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and backend design patterns Proficiency with Git and build automation tools (Maven, Jenkins) Knowledge of database design, SQL, and data management concepts Good understanding of frontend technologies (React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) to lead cross-functional teams Experience with enterprise CMS platforms, preferably AEM Proficiencywith project management and collaboration tools like Jira, confluence, SharePoint, Teams etc.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline; or equivalent professional experience English proficiency (B2+ level in reading, writing, and conversation) Industry certifications in platform technologies (AEM, AWS, Azure) are a plus
