Project site is currently TBD. The General Superintendent/Construction Manager position will supervise assigned project activities, including overseeing all field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, subcontractors and suppliers. The GS/CM will coordinate and work in conjunction with the Project Manager leading the project team.

Responsibilities

are: Monitor subcontractors and trades to meet deadlines and milestones of aggressively paced project schedules Must have strong background knowledge of CSA and/or MEP construction methods. Must have experience with large scale cast-in-place concrete projects.

Ability to be alert to all that is taking place on the job site. Ability to show truthfulness and honesty in all situations. Ability to be decisive and to recognize key factors and provide input to make difficult decisions.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Knowledge of construction trades with focus on sitework, concrete, steel, MEP, and interior finishes. Experience with cast in place concrete and shotcrete is strongly preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company’s auto insurance policy.

DMV checks performed annually.

: Ability to effectively use a computer and required software (Procore, Microsoft Office, MS Project) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field is preferred. Minimum requirement is a High School diploma, with 15+ years of related experience.
