Your team As an AI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our platform by bringing cutting-edge NLP and LLM capabilities into our products. This role is based in Mannheim, where you'll collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team. We embrace a hybrid work model, with three days a week in the office.
Design and implement innovative AI services to enhance the user experience across our global SaaS portfolio. , entity resolution, intelligent search, document understanding). Optimize provisioning of AI services for performance and scalability across a growing international customer base.
Leverage observability tools and user/system data to generate actionable insights and continuously improve platform intelligence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven features into modern, cloud-native applications. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the AI field Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with key Python packages for machine learning and data science.
Production experience with NLP solutions, including transformer-based models, entity recognition, and classification tasks. Practical knowledge of LLMs, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and structured output generation. Containerization expertise using Docker or similar tools for model packaging, deployment, and scalability.
Nice To Have
Exposure to multi-lingual NLP or handling diverse text data. Previous work on ESG or compliance-related applications is a plus. Recent hands-on experience with modern NLP approaches is highly valued—even if this isn’t your primary specializations.
