Experienced Solicitor/CILEX Lawyer/Associate - Motor Injury

We are delighted to be able to invite applications from qualified lawyers (both Solicitors and Chartered Legal Executives) at a senior level wanting to join our national Motor Injury Team. Our industry leading team is made up of 12 partners and 130 lawyers spread across the United Kingdom. The role offers the opportunity to expand on your already existing portfolio in a collaborative environment with the potential for further promotion.

Our National team whose clients are a mix of leading names in the insurance industry as well as household name corporates, provide effective claims solutions for complex cases arising from motor related claims, generally valued at £100k+ to the multi millions. Whether the instruction is for pre-emptive advice/investigations or upon litigation our aim to provide a clear strategy from the outset.

Requirements

of the firm and the quality standards to include: Adherence to internal and client SLAs, KPIs and protocols Achievement of agreed financial targets Prompt billing and collection of WIP and disbursements Prompt and accurate provision of MI Applying appropriate and current technical expertise and case law Effectively managing risk and compliance issues within each case, ensuring any emerging problems are escalated promptly Engaging with clients where appropriate to maximise opportunities to meet and build rapport with clients, at all times acting as an ambassador of the firm Contribute to Business Development and client relationship activity in support of the Client Relationship Partner Maintaining and developing technical knowledge through attendance at training sessions and reading appropriate publications Ambitious individual seeking to progress your career in an industry leading firm Previous experience of working on RTA/ EL/ & PL Large Loss/ Catastrophic and Complex Injury claims A high level of personal compliance with firm protocols and procedures Good legal knowledge relevant to your area of expertise An ability to adopt a commercial perspective to legal issues. Confident negotiation skills The ability to be team oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team Excellent relationship and client handling skills.
