About The Role

: Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), a leading defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be part of our Engineering team and based out of our Arlington, VA, Mount Laurel, NJ, or San Diego, CA location. The selected Software Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and integration of software solutions to support our customers. The main role of the Senior Software Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative, and performant software that complies with coding standards and technical design.

Who You Are (Required)

: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, cybersecurity, related field, or equivalent full-time professional experience. 7-10+ years of relevant experience. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, as needed.

Proven experience mentoring and leading junior engineers. Expert understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. Expert understanding of object-oriented programming.
