The Propulsion Test Team at Impulse Space is responsible for designing, building, and operating world class test stands to support the development and production of engines and propulsion components that will serve in Impulse’s goal of pioneering the future of in-space transportation. This team is located at the Mojave Air & Space Port which is home to many firsts in air and space development. As a Automation & Controls Specialist at Impulse, you will be responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of test equipment related to rocket propulsion testing.

This includes electrical wiring, pneumatics, PLCs, and industrial controls hardware. ) Review and redline drawings and technical documentation and provide design feedback to engineering Use of EPlan for generating reports, manufacturing data, etc.

Compensation

bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
