Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Junior Accountant will provide support general accounting operations by handling general accounting tasks on a daily basis, including include posting journal entries, updating financial statements, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable and preparing financial reports in compliance with Group policies and local legislative

Requirements

, as assigned Perform bank account reconciliations Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed Prepare and daily/weekly/monthly reports in accordance with the set reporting calendar Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings Assist with other accounting projects Assist with internal and external audits Perform other related duties as assigned by Senior Finance Manager Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Demonstrable ability to multi-task and prioritize with excellent organization and documentation skills in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Capable of working collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of UK, US and Canadian GAAP an advantage but not essential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to articulate complex information. Attention to detail, and accurate fact-based interpretation.

Qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

are a plus but not required 2 years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting Relevant experience with at least 1 year experience working in financial accounting environment within shared services.
