Stacy Witbeck is seeking a highly skilled Superintendent in Water and Wastewater treatment plant construction. Although new to the water market we have been extremely successful in obtaining and managing the work and are committed to growing this section of our business. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Responsible for field operations, including supervision of all field mechanical construction work - directing activities of workers, supervising construction inspection and field surveying activities. Supervise construction efforts to ensure projects are constructed according to specifications, within budget, on schedule, with the appropriate people and equipment while ensuring the safety of workforce.
Plan, coordinate, schedule, and supervise on-site functions and provide input with engineering, and material control to make sure project objectives are met. Strong focus on development of craft workforce and the ability to attract and retain quality, skilled craft employees Provide direction to Foremen and other Superintendents to ensure productivity, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the projects are met. Assist project management in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents, and standards to ensure project goals are achieved.
Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment. Reports on project status regularly through meetings or written correspondence.
Requirements
are essential, but preferences have flexibility.
: 10+ years related experience required as a foreman/superintendent managing crews for the installation of mechanical pipe and equipment within water and wastewater treatment facilities. Experience in WW/WWTP construction. Including process piping, treatment systems and structural concrete.
Treatment plant, pump station, lift station and other water/wastewater facilities experience is required.
