Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Watershed Engineer to join our team. This role will support a variety of watershed planning, stormwater, drainage, and water resources projects for municipal, state, federal, and private clients across the region.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation in hydrology and hydraulics while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, sustainable solutions that improve infrastructure resiliency and support long-term community growth.

Requirements

preferred Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8, SWMM, HydroCAD, ICPR, or similar platforms Experience preparing engineering reports, drainage studies, calculations, construction plans, and permitting documentation Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS software, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred Strong understanding of watershed analysis, stormwater management principles, open channel hydraulics, and erosion and sediment control practices Ability to communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, project teams, and stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced consulting environment We know work isn't only about what you do, it's also about who you work for and with!
