As a Construction Management EIT, you will support Construction Managers and Engineers with inspection, materials testing, and contract administration on transportation projects, primarily road and bridge work for the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD).
Requirements
• Utilize spreadsheets, databases, CAD programs, and construction management software to support contractor payments and track testing frequencies • Research technical topics and apply relevant standards, manuals, and regulations • Communicate effectively with contractors, inspectors, and clients to support project delivery Growth and Development: • Progress into a team leadership role as experience and competency increase • Provide technical recommendations based on field experience • Obtain Professional Engineer licensure • Develop skills in project management, client service, invoicing, and team supervision • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering - EIT • FE exam completion preferred but not required at time of hire • Ability to obtain ITD inspection and WAQTC testing certifications • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to learn • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure or challenging situations Work Environment and
