Information Technology Senior Consultant Level 5 Columbia, MD TS/SCI with FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION FOR THIS POSITION Details: Performs as a consultant in highly specialized, leading edge information technologies and methodologies; Provides highly technical and specialized guidance concerning automated solutions to complex information processing problems; Performs elaborate analyses and studies; Prepares reports and gives presentations. Manages the project work as defined by the government. Leads medium to large complex projects and major phases of very large projects.

Provides highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems. This includes installing and loading software, maintaining system integrity, configuring network components, and implementing enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Additionally, provide support for IT systems including day-to-day helpdesk operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client, server, storage, and network devices.

Requirements

. • Upgrade current regions to remain inside the supported release list (called SLURP upgrade) • Provide technical support to operations team as needed to support existing infrastructure • Support metrics organization in both new and old regions, using Gnocchi for new regions and custom metric solutions for existing installations • Conduct program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation using Python, Python Flask, Golang

Qualifications

: Minimum education and experience level: High School/GED with twenty (20) years of relevant experience. Associate's degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience.

IAT I Certification Technology: • Design, deploy, and administer virtualized platforms using VMware. • Create and monitor various automated tasks via scripting (Python, PowerShell) maintained in Git repositories.
