Veterinary Assistant

As a Veterinary Technician Assistant, you will play an essential role in keeping our hospital running smoothly.

Responsibilities

include, but are not limited to: Assisting with safe and compassionate animal restraint during examinations and treatments Supporting veterinary technicians and veterinarians with daily patient care needs Filling medications and assisting with prescription requests Stocking treatment and exam rooms with necessary supplies Maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital, including completing daily cleaning and organization tasks Preparing rooms and equipment for appointments and procedures Providing excellent client service and professional communication with pet owners Assisting with additional hospital duties as needed Passion for animal health and patient care Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Confidence interacting with clients in a professional and compassionate manner Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced veterinary environment Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn Previous veterinary, animal care, kennel, or customer service experience is preferred but not required Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedules 401K with company match Career development and training
