In particular, the group is responsible for end to end Local GAAP reporting activities, as well as a number of US GAAP related activities. The Statutory CoE Accountant is an important member of a team primarily focused on the on-time and accurate completion of financial statements, audit delivery, statistical reporting and key GBS deliverables.

Prepare audit deliverables Ensure timely & satisfactory completion of audits under Local GAAP Maintain Local GAAP ledgers ensuring information is updated in a timely and accurate manner Prepare US GAAP quarterly controls, including post submissions analytics Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders in market finance and GBS. Act as a first point of contact for key stakeholders, both internally and with external parties Support implementation of new business technology and reporting tools around financial statement preparation Contribute to team effort and assist other colleagues as needed Proactively identify, rectify and follow-up on local accounting issues arising Ensure adherence to controls and a robust controls culture Identify opportunities for process continuous improvement and implement solutions Support departmental, ad hoc and other projects as required Education, Skills And Experience University Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting Qualified Accountant or equivalent Knowledge and practical experience of Local and US GAAPs preferred Minimum 3+ years of related accounting experience required Strong accounting, interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills a prerequisite Ability to work independently, under pressure and handle conflicting priorities SAP experience preferred Proficiency in PC skills (inc.
