Aspire Allergy & Sinus — Pueblo, Colorado
Join our clinical staff as an essential Aspire Allergy Medical Assistant and contribute to our mission of curing patients with allergy, asthma, and sinus problems. You'll be administering allergy tests and injections, providing exceptional support during in-office procedures, and assisting with front-office administrative tasks. Requirements
including universal precautions and sharps disposal guidelines Willingness to be cross-trained in a variety of both front and back-office duties to provide full cycle clinic support. Those front office duties are to include, but are not limited to:Become proficient in the Practice Management (PM) side of our Electronic Health Record. Obtain CT authorizations.
Scan patient documents and medical records and attach them to charts. Check patients in, including obtaining correct information such as demographics, PCP, contact and insurance information. Checking patients out, including taking payment.
Communicating an Out of Pocket Max for a patient. Sending End of Day emails to appropriate parties. Scheduling patient appointments.
Enrolling patients in treatment of choice. Must have basic knowledge of medical terminology Must possess exceptional customer service skills Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate Must be able to administer subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular injections Must be able to manually take patient vital signs Must possess the ability to maintain effective working relationship with patients, medical staff and the public Must possess the ability to react calmly and effectively in a difficult or emergent situation Ability to travel among clinics in your region required Required education and experience Completed Medical Assistant Program or Degree Must have a valid driver's license Preferred education and experience 1+ Years of Medical Assistant Experience 1+ Years of Medical Receptionist Experience Medical Assistant Certificate, vocational nurse license or related experience Current CPR Certification Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.
