The role combines technical engineering work with project coordination, stakeholder communication, and field collaboration. This is not a pure design-only role.

What You'Ll Do

Manage engineering and infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle Coordinate with municipalities, landowners, easement stakeholders, and other external partners Oversee project execution through construction and implementation Partner with linemen, field teams, and internal stakeholders to support successful delivery Ensure projects meet engineering specifications, compliance

What We'Re Looking For

Required Electrical engineering background Project management or project delivery experience Strong communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders Ability to work effectively with field teams, internal partners, and external stakeholders Based in or able to commute to the Springfield / Jacksonville, Illinois area Preferred Utility experience Transmission and distribution experience Substation or broader infrastructure project exposure Construction oversight experience Experience coordinating with easements, municipalities, or landowners
