Installation Technician (Access Control/Surveillance)

Responsible for successful installation, setup, and configuration of security, surveillance, and access control systems. Focused on delivering on company standards, every time, based on Techmenity’s company principles document. You Are: A trustworthy individual.

Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have: Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling Mount devices at the ends of those wires Setup, configuration, and programming of devices Troubleshooting of devices Understanding of networks Read and follow plan sets Industry Certifications: CompTIA A+, AVIXA CTS, OSHA 10 Access Control Knowledge: Brivo, Verkada, Avigilon Alta/Openpath, Lenel, Kisi, ButterflyMX Experience with surveillance platforms and IP camera systems. $35/hr-$50/hr – Yup!
