The Director, Data and Cloud is responsible for defining and executing Voyager's enterprise data and cloud strategy, building the platforms and capabilities that power mission-critical decision-making across the company. This leader will architect and scale Voyager's cloud infrastructure, data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML foundations — ensuring that data is treated as a strategic asset from ingestion through insight.
The position reports to the Chief Information Officer and is part of the Information Technology organization. This role is remote.
Requirements
Architect and govern Voyager's cloud environment — spanning IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS — across public, private, and hybrid deployment models, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, data pipelines, and real-time streaming capabilities that serve Voyager's business units and operational functions Establish and enforce enterprise data governance frameworks, including data ownership, data quality standards, metadata management, and data lineage to ensure trusted, auditable, and compliant data assets Partner with business unit leaders, program managers, and technical teams to translate operational and analytical
into scalable data and cloud solutions Lead and develop a high-performing team of cloud architects, data engineers, data analysts, and platform engineers; attract, retain, and grow talent in a competitive environment Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, business intelligence, and AI/ML capabilities that enable data-driven decision-making at scale across Voyager's enterprise Manage cloud financial operations (FinOps), including budget ownership, cost optimization, consumption governance, and executive-level reporting on cloud investment performance Ensure cloud and data environments meet all applicable security, compliance, and regulatory
