About The Role
We’re seeking experienced, compassionate, and adaptable Registered Nurses to join a respected health system in Fairbanks, Alaska on a three-year contract. As an RN, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes. You’ll work in a program known for its commitment to patient-centered care and excellence in hospice services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide compassionate end-of-life care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life Administer medications, manage pain and symptoms, and monitor patient status Offer emotional and educational support to patients and families during challenging transitions Collaborate closely with physicians, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately and in real time Educate families on hospice philosophy, care plans, and what to expect during the end-of-life process Uphold rigorous standards of safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance in alignment with healthcare guidelines
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) NCLEX-RN successfully passed (or NCLEX study is in progress as a minimum) English proficiency (certification or native fluency) Minimum 24 months of recent Hospice or acute care experience Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of 3 years
