MSC Core Engineer III (Req#1030)

Overview *Shift: Monday–Friday: 6AM EST – 3PM EST As a Managed Services Center (MSC) Tier III Core Engineer, you will provide ePlus’ MSC and clientele with Network, Security and Systems support to maximize stability, availability, security and functionality within the production environment. As a customer-interfacing contact, you will work to solve pressing business issues and drive positive change. You will leverage technology, advance ePlus MSC services and provide critical performance improvement feedback.

Qualifications

Active Cisco CCNP Service Provider certification required 5+ years of experience in service provider role with knowledge of optics Firm understanding of Juniper as it relates to the service provider field Adept at using NCS (Cisco, Juniper, and otherwise) Proven history of troubleshooting complex network issues Familiarity with VRF technology Versed in routing protocols such as IS-IS, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS Knowledgeable with concepts such as SD-WAN, cloud networking, and network security Experience working with ASRs Background in current monitoring and management tools such as ServiceNOW Proficient in the use of Office 360 products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel Position Specifics The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $110,000 and $150,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
