Kennedy Mechanical Plumbing and Heating is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Plumbing Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, field teams, estimators, and customers to design plumbing systems. The ideal candidate is organized, technically skilled, and passionate about delivering high-quality designs that support efficient project execution.

Requirements

with contractors and equipment suppliers under the direction of the design manager Create and review permit, construction and shop drawings Interface with field personnel during construction to assist in resolving any field variance discrepancies Experience in plumbing design, mechanical construction, or related field Proficiency with AutoCad and/or Revit MEP design software General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of plumbing systems including, but not limited to: sanitary and storm drainage, sanitary venting, domestic water systems, gaseous fuel piping, medical gas and process piping Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of building codes, engineering theories and methodologies Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Competitive pay based on experience Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Saving Account with company contribution Company Paid Life Insurance 401(k) plan with company matching Paid Holidays and PTO Company-paid training and development opportunities
