Senior Systems Engineer/Specialist

Job Title: Senior Combat and Systems Engineer or Specialist Location: Halifax, NS, Ottawa, ON, or Victoria, BC Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Annual Salary: $105,000-150,000 The Senior Systems Engineer or Specialist is responsible for professionally and efficiently executing work in support of client taskings and projects in the field of Systems Engineering. Additionally, the Senior Systems Engineer or Specialist interacts with BMT’s capability teams to support the delivery of systems engineering services. Provides and leads general and systems engineering advice and support to internal and external clients in various systems lifecycle phases.

Acts as a Technical Lead and/or Technical Assurer on specified projects while working within the BMT Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures. Participates in the development and growth of the systems engineering capability at the regional level. Additionally, the Senior Systems Engineer or Specialist may support the Combat & Systems Engineering team in various technical and project management work, such as: Application of systems engineering principles, regulations, and standards to various applications.

Conducting and leading engineering assessments, feasibility studies and technical investigations. Support various projects in a systems engineering capacity in combat and military systems, cybersecurity, naval systems and platforms, and others.
