ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril’s Manufacturing Automation team is seeking a Staff Robotics Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Automation team is responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of automated manufacturing systems across Anduril factories. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to help define what production automation looks like for Anduril at a national scale.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Select, design, and integrate industrial robots / cobots for manufacturing automation, from initial concept through full production deployment Develop, optimize, and debug robot programs, including motion planning, path planning, safety configurations, and vision-based guidance Specify, select, and integrate EOAT, including grippers, sensors, and custom tooling Design and manage robot cell layouts, including safety enclosures, work envelopes, and necessary infrastructure Implement and verify safety functions (STO, SLS, etc.) in accordance with relevant safety standards Develop and execute simulation models to validate robot reach, cycle time, and potential collisions before physical implementation Select and integrate robot dresspacks Develop and enforce internal standards for robotic system design, programming, safety, and integration Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including controls engineers, mechanical designers, and production staff, to ensure seamless integration of robotic systems
