About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Safety Engineer to ensure the safe deployment, operation, and sustainment of our defense systems in real-world environments. In this role, you will focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks across the full lifecycle—from concept and development to field deployment and mission use. You will work closely with systems engineering, test, human factors, and mission teams to ensure that safety is embedded not only in design, but also in procedures, training, and operational use.
Requirements
, MIL-STD-882, IEC 61508, ISO 26262 where applicable) Experience developing safety cases and working with hazard tracking systems Strong understanding of system architectures and real-world operational constraints Experience in field testing, validation, or mission support environments Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary team Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply.
