About The Role
As our Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be the driving force behind the electrical architecture of our autonomous robotic systems. You'll shape the core of our platform's electrical design, ensuring our robots are robust, reliable, and built to the highest standards of quality and consistency. This is a key role where you will establish and lead our EPLAN environment, guiding the engineering team and setting the benchmark for electrical design excellence at ARX Robotics.

What You’ll Build Develop and maintain the complete electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation for our robotic platforms using EPLAN P8. Architect and continuously enhance our EPLAN environment, including article databases, macro libraries, and drawing standards.
Guide the selection of critical electrical components through structured, data-driven technical decisions.
Guarantee compliance with key industry standards (like EN 60204-1 and EMC principles) and relevant military specifications. Define, document, and champion best practices and guidelines for electrical engineering across the team. Mentor and empower your engineering colleagues on EPLAN workflows, system structure, and electrical design principles.
Serve as the authority for reviewing and validating electrical designs, ensuring they meet our high bar for quality and robustness. Maintain seamless alignment between electrical design data in EPLAN and our higher-level system and BOM structures in our PLM system. What You Bring A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent expertise gained through extensive hands-on experience as a technician or master craftsman.
Several years of experience architecting electrical designs for complex machinery or advanced systems. Deep, practical expertise with EPLAN P8, ideally including its administration and data management. A strong background in component selection, dimensioning, and full-cycle electrical system design.
A solid understanding of electrical communication networks (like CAN and Ethernet) and their integration. , EN 60204-1, ISO 13849-1). A proactive, structured, and independent approach to your work, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Fluency in English (German is a plus). Experience with ruggedized systems for harsh environments or harness design tools (like EPLAN Harness ProD) would be a significant advantage. Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply.
